2020 Registration

The 2020 Annual gymnastics registration is due, if you have not paid your annual gymnastics registration for 2020. This needs to be paid before your child’s next training session and can be done online under your account or in person at Reception.

Easter Holiday Closure

The Quaycentre will be closed for Easter from Good Friday 10th April till Easter Monday 13th April. Gymnastics classes will not run during this weekend. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday break.

ONGOING Training in 2020

2020 has begun with a bang and we are flipping with it! This year introduces “no stopping for holidays”. In the past we have gone on break when the school holidays commence, that will no longer happen as we will continue through the holidays. Term 1 this year is 13 weeks long with Easter falling in week 11.  Please note that we still be offering some holiday clinics within the centre and gymnastics hall, for our current students and new students looking for some sport clinics during the holidays. Look for those classes on our website.

Easter Egg Competition

As last year was such a success we have brought back the Easter Egg decorating competition. Simply take an entry home to colour or decorate anyway you wish and then hand into your child’s coach or to reception by Wednesday 8th April. Good Luck!
Josie to add link to the comp and T & C’s (Please and thank you)

Refer a Friend Offer

This term if you refer a friend and they join our gymnastics club, you both win! You will both receive a Sports bag and water bottle. Simply see reception to register or refer a friend.

Pit Maintenance

You may have noticed our foam pit looking rather full. We recently cleaned out the foam pit as we do annually. The cleaning of the pit also allows for a softer landing for the gymnasts when learning new skills for the first time.
At the end of February our new beams arrived, the new beams are FIG approved, they provide more bounce and a softer padding for landings.

Recreational Competition

Term 1 grading will be continue the grading that was introduced in term 4 2019; all recreation students will need to attend an in-house competition on Sunday 5 April 2020.

Students will start learning routines from week six during the term, these routines is what all students will be graded on.

A note will be sent out as we get closer to the competition so our families can submit their entries.

This is a great way for our senior coaches to have a look at how talented our recreation students are.
