The Park is going to be buzzing this month. Here’s what you need to know to get around smoothly.
Major events coming up

Good Things Festival | Saturday 6 December
Lewis Capaldi | Saturday 6, Sunday 7 & Tuesday 9 December

Travel tips if you are heading to these major events:
Accessible pick/drop off
Accessible pick/drop off area access for major events at Accor Stadium is located at Dawn Fraser Avenue, access is via Edwin Flack Avenue.
Please note, after events, accessible transport taxis are required to enter via Pondage Link to reach Edwin Flack Ave and Dawn Fraser Ave, due to road closures across the site.
Arrive early
Arriving early ensures you are not impacted by any traffic delays. There are many things to see and do at the Park while you wait for those doors to open. Come and make a day of it by visiting some of the local attractions, or kick-on after your event at one of the local bars, cafes and restaurants.
Public transport
Fans are strongly urged to catch public transport to Sydney Olympic Park. You can also consider using train station commuter carparks and continuing your trip by train to Olympic Park.
Plan your trip in advance and check online for any trackwork or disruptions on your bus or train lines.
Check your tickets, as some events may already include public transport in your admission. Once you arrive, follow the directional signage to your venue, as road closures will also be in place for public safety.
Parking
If you need to drive, pre-booking your parking is the way to go. You can pre-book online up until 11:59pm the day before an event.
For patrons requiring an accessible parking space, pre-book a general parking space in advance and park your vehicle in a designated accessible parking space on the day. Individual accessible parking spaces cannot be pre-booked, they are provided under first in first served conditions. If the designated spaces are all taken, please park in the nearest empty un-marked parking space.
Leave early! Significant delays are expected on roads approaching the precinct, particularly during the already busy evening peak, so give yourself ample time to arrive or carpool where possible.
After the show, traffic will be very heavy as everyone leaves at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks.
When driving to Sydney Olympic Park, please be courteous and respect local residents in the surrounding neighbourhoods by not parking illegally or obstructing residential driveways and streets.
