Our local roads will be busy all day, with a peak period mid-afternoon and early evening, for concurrent events including AFL, Netball, Disney and more. - Drone use notification
Be advised a drone may be active in the area of Qudos Bank Arena and plaza domain for the boxing event being held on Wednesday 16 July. - Sound notice: AR Gang
Please be advised the following event “AR GANG” will be held on Saturday 19 July from 5:00 pm – midnight at Sydney Showground. There may be intermittent noise on Friday 18 July due to sound testing. For event related sound level enquiries please contact the Event Noise Hotline: 02 9714 7310. - See our site works page on mySOP engage for updates on projects which may cause some disruption to normal conditions. Upcoming works to note:
- Pothole repair works are currently occurring within Bicentennial Park
- Due to weather conditions, the temporary closure of Brickpit Ring Walk is extended while upgrades to interpretive signage is completed.
- Sandstone block replacement of timber planks at Blaxland Riverside Park upper car park (P11A) undertaken between 10 July – 18 July.
- Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2
Some of the works being carried out in July include:- Construction of temporary access road, staging area and working platform
Installation and connection of temporary electrical, stormwater drainage, sewer and utilities to the construction compound amenities facility - Removal of the footbridge at Newington River Walk to enable haul road and rock causeway construction.

- Changed Parking Conditions in the Parklands – Stage 2
Changed parking conditions in the parklands will be extended to the carparks which service Wentworth Common, the Brickpit and the Archery Centre from Monday 14 July. Find out more.
