Acknowledgment of Country
We acknowledge the Wangal as the first Custodians of the land, air and waters now known as Sydney Olympic Park.
We pay respect to all First Nations People and our community Elders past and present.
Pesticides are used at Sydney Olympic Park to control weeds, pests, and diseases. This helps us to conserve native flora and fauna and ensures public places can continue to be enjoyed by the community.
The Park is for everyone, and it takes all of us to make our visit a pleasant experience.
World Environment Day, is the biggest international day to highlight the importance of nature, and gives people all around the world the perfect excuse to celebrate it.
Opening the light poles for maintenance at the Park can be an adventure – you never know who might be present inside!
