Important travel information
Up to 50,000 footy fans are expected to travel to Accor Stadium on Sunday 27 September to see the Penrith Panthers take on the Newcastle Knights in the NRL preliminary final blockbuster.
Attendees are urged to leave the car at home and use public transport to avoid traffic delays and the high demand for parking. Extra services will run and the cost of travel is included with your match ticket – simply show your ticket to transport staff when boarding. Plan your trip.
Minor Premiers the Penrith Panthers will face the Newcastle Knights in an NRL Preliminary Final at Accor Stadium on Sunday 27 September.
With a place in the NRL Grand Final on the line, this is Sydney’s final NRL match before the Grand Final.
Getting there
- Match tickets include travel on all modes of public transport, making public transport the easiest way to get there. Simply show your match ticket to transport staff when boarding services.
- Additional trains will run to help get you there get you there with frequent return services after the match
- Please note that this event will not run Major Event Buses.
Driving in?
- To guarantee a space please pre-book, the pre-book parking system closes at 11:59 pm the day before an event.
- Make sure you allow for enough time to park your car and get to your event.
- After the show, traffic will be congested with everyone leaving at the same time. Allow up to an hour of additional travel time when exiting car parks. Visit our website for more parking information.
- When driving to Sydney Olympic Park, please be courteous and respect local residents in the surrounding neighbourhoods by not parking illegally or obstructing residential driveways and streets.
